Citroen reveals new van range for 2024

Recently Citroen revealed their new van range for 2024. With larger engines / powertrains, a focus on driver comfort, a longer all electric range and refined styling throughout, each model available provides the best in its category for commercial drivers throughout Surrey and Hampshire.

Starting with New Berlingo Van, Citroen begins with where it has excelled before: driver comfort. New Berlingo Van can now be fitted with Advanced Comfort seating which are based on an elaborate architecture, include special lateral supports and are enveloped in high-quality foam and fabric. It means the most comfortable drive for the most difficult of journeys.

All New Berlingo Van trim levels benefit from MyCitroen Play which allows users to benefit from the best of their smartphones and integrate it fully into their van. You favourite messengers, audio services and navigational apps are mirrored on the screen to ensure you keep listening to your favourite music, audiobooks or podcasts without any interruption when you step into the van. All of this is done wirelessly and seamlessly to ensure driver and passenger safety at all times.

The MyCitroen Drive Plus system is an extension of this clever functionality and combines the service with a 10-inch high definition screen (with connected 3D navigation). It’s extremely easy to use and also receives the feed from the reversing camera.

Choose the Techno Pack and you’ll receive a useful wireless smartphone charger for a cable-free experience. Techno Pack also includes keyless entry and start as well as automatic climate control.

Driver safety is further improved by the enhanced driving aids available including upgraded Dynamic Surround Vision. Many van drivers don’t have a clear view of what is behind (thanks to windowless rear doors or a fixed bulkhead). However, the Dynamic Surround Vision is displayed where you would normally expect it to be…on the rear-view mirror. This is a constant view of what is occurring behind you (as if using a normal rear-view mirror). It compensates for any blind spots you have originally had.

In addition to the Dynamic Surround Vision is both enhanced parking aids and better safety technology. Obstacle sensors are distributed between the front and rear of the vehicle so you can get a better understanding of your surroundings. Adaptive Cruise Control can be fitted to ensure those longer motorway journeys are a breeze and road-sign reading, lane-keeping assist with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian and cyclist detection being other useful functions.

New Berlingo Van comes with a wide variety of powertrains. Customers can choose from a PureTech 110 bhp (petrol) as well as two diesel engines (BlueHDi 100 bhp and 130 bhp). With recent governmental grants, many of our customers are likely to go all-electric and the E-Berlingo Van does not disappoint. The 100 kW (136 bhp) has a maximum torque of 260Nm and is combined with a 54 kWh battery. Thanks to these advancements in technology, the New E-Berlingo Van can achieve a range of up to 205 miles which is 20% further than the previous model. It is optimised thanks to its new regenerative braking system (which can be adjusted to suit your driving style).

A 7.4 kW onboard charger is fitted and New E-Berlingo Van can be optioned with a 11 kW three-phase charger for easy recharging. Charging can be achieved overnight (7.5 hours) as standard. This can be reduced by using an 11 kW wallbox to 5 hours. For those who want a quick turnaround, the New E-Berlingo Van can achieve 0-80% of its battery in just 30 minutes when charging from a 100 kW public charging station, ensuring your new van is always kept on the move.

New Berlingo Van comes in a wide range of body styles. Available with 2 or 3 seats and two lengths (M: 4.4 m³ and L: 4.75m³).

Following in the footsteps of its smaller sibling, the New Citroen Dispatch offers all the Berlingo does and adds even more versatility. With a load volume of up to 6.6m³ it is surprisingly spacious on the inside and compact when driving. It even has a turning circle of just 12.4 metres.

Power comes from either the BlueHDi (a 120 or 145 bhp diesel) engine or all electric 100 kW motor (136 bhp). This offers an increased range over its predecessor to 217 miles.
The onboard charger can ensure it can be fully recharged overnight (at 11 hours and 20 minutes). For those seeking a faster charge, then the optional 11 kW three-phase can be fitted to bring the recharge speed to 7 hours and 30 minutes. For those who cannot wait, a 100kW public charger can top up from 0-80% in just 45 minutes.

New Citroen Dispatch is available in two lengths M: 4.98m and L: 5.33m. There are several body styles available including the van as well as 5 or 6 seater extended cab. There is a useful volume of up to 6.6m³ and a payload of 1,000kg for E-Dispatch and 1,446kg for Dispatch.

Here comes big brother! The New Citroen Relay has always been about achieving serious workloads and this model does not disappoint. This sturdy new vehicle has a payload of up to 2 tonnes (1,500kg for E-Relay) and is fitted with creature comforts that you would expect from one Citroens popular range of family cars.

As well as the features and functions that have been brought over from the New Berlingo Van and Dispatch range, the New Citroen Relay brings 360-degree parking radar. This clever system brings 14 or 16 sensors (depending on length of vehicle) and shows you an accurate proximity reading when manoeuvring in tight spaces.

Drive Assist Pack brings us one step closer to driverless driving with adaptive cruise control, centring assistance and traffic jam assistance. In traffic, the vehicle can autonomously control steering, braking and acceleration up to 18 miles per hour.

New Citroen relay comes in two variants of diesel engine (140 bhp and 180 bhp) and can be optioned with a smooth EAT8 8-speed automatic on the 180 bhp variant. New Citroen E-Relay brings 100% electric motoring to the Relay model with 200 kW/270 bhp motor that brings torque up to a staggering 400Nm. This means that the new Citroen E-Relay is significantly more powerful than its predecessor and can achieve much more range (up to 261 miles).

Charging for the E-Relay is managed by the 11 kW onboard charger and can fully charged in 12 hours. A 150kW public charger can rapidly recharge it from 0-80% in just 55 minutes.

As always, New Citroen Relay comes in a plethora of configurations. Two wheelbases are available (3.45 m and 4.04 m). The panel vans come in three lengths (L2, L3 and L4). This means a total of 6 body sizes featuring volumes ranging from 10 – 17 m³. For special conversions, the New Relay (in its 4.04 m wheelbase is available in L3 or L4 single cab chassis and double cab chassis.
