Trainee Sales Executive

Charters Citroen of Aldershot are looking to recruit a Trainee Sales Executive . Ideally this candidate would come from a retail background (not necessarily Automotive), who is well organised and has excellent IT, numeracy and communication skills. If you enjoy talking to people and can demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, possess a full clean UK driving licence then we look forward to hearing from you.

  • Comprehensive in-house training will be provided by our own training academy.
  • 2 days off a week (1 on Sunday and one to be arranged during the weekdays)
  • Competitive basic salary and commission package.

Assistant Sales Manager

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Assistant Sales Manager to join our Peugeot & Citroen team.

You will support the Sales Manager to drive a successful sales performance, developing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets. This is a vital role ensuring a positive team environment is created to achieve our goals.

DUTIES

  • Assisting the Sales Manager in achieving objectives and targets for the business, and deputise in the absence of the Sales Manager.
  • Support the sales team by providing training, motivation and guidance to achieve individual  and team targets.
  • Engage with customers to ascertain their needs, resolve any issues and promote products/services effectively.
  • Identify new business opportunities to ensure growth and assure customer engagement.
  • Be proactive in marketing exercises to enhance each brand’s profile and visibility.
  • Maintain customer database  and sales activities.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and encourage a culture of excellence  within the team.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clean full driving license essential.
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment is essential; motor industry experience in a supervisory role would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written with attention to detail, and building rapport with both customers and team alike.
  • High level of proficiency in CRM software & Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to be self-motivated whilst also being able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Be proactive in problem-solving in addition to having strong organisational skills.
  • Must have a passion for delivering the very highest levels of customer service and achieving sales excellence.

Full time role

Remuneration: competitive salary dependent on experience
