Citroen C3 Aircross compact SUV hits 100,000 sales in less than a year since it’s launch in October 2017. Over 70,000 of these sales occurred in 2018 alone.
With the introduction of the C3 Aircross, many were worried that the this new model would be as impressive as the outgoing C3 Picasso and thanks to a plethora of awards handed over in the past 10 months, the C3 Aircross has gone from strength to strength. It has become Citroen’s second most popular model with only the C3 beating it.
The popularity of SUVs has considerably grown in recent years. Drivers are seeking a more bold, high riding and dynamic drive which was previously fulfilled by a traditional hatchback. Whilst high-riding vehicles tend to be thirsty at the petrol station and uncomfortably bouncy, the C3 Aircross has shown that neither of these be true.

What trim level are people buying?
The most popular trim levels show a sway in the way people think when buying a new C3 Aircross. With a low starting price, we have found that many of our customers are happy to choose a higher trim level. National results reflect our own findings at Charters Citroen of Aldershot. The highest trim level available: the Flair accounted for 55% of orders in the UK.
- 35% of all orders were of an optional interior ambiance.
- 25% of orders specified a two-tone roof
- 30% of orders specified a colour pack (with contrasting roof bars, quarter lights, door mirrors and light surrounds)
